My husband, Mark Bashaar, and I met in 1983 while working on a film project called "Children on their Birthdays" with the American Film Institute. He lived in San Francisco at the time, and although he was definitely "geographically undesirable" he stole my heart early on with the strength of his character. We married in 1987 in Monterey, CA and have a dream of retiring somewhere on the California coastline.
In 1991 I gave birth to the first of our three children, Cody. Cody is an awesome young man who is kind and thoughtful. He is a talented film maker. Cody loves airsoft games, video games on the XBox 360 and annoying his younger brother. Cody is single and loves the movies.
In 1996 Mark & I moved to West Hills. It was also the year I gave birth to Lucas. I have volunteered in my communities for as long as I can remember. Lucas is active in performing on stage and in television. He enjoys playing soccer, baseball, and volleyball.
In 2001 I gave birth to my daughter, Celeste. She enjoys doing art. Math is her favorite subject at school. She says she wants to be a supermodel and/or a veterinarian so she can buy a horse, and take care of animals. At least for now.
Mark is an avid sports fan. We enjoy visiting his sister in San Francisco and going to the 49er games. We also enjoy going to Dodger Stadium to watch the Dodgers, but Mark still has his fan alliance with the Giants. I have successfully managed to create Dodger fans with the kids.
My hobbies include competitive poker playing, golf, Toastmasters, and being an AYSO referee.
